Overview:

South Africa is known as a ‘World in One Country’ and no itinerary exposes you to more of its diversity than this one. The multitude of possible highlights, activities and options, including a malaria free safari, combined with a broad selection of accommodation options and easy driving conditions make this a hugely versatile and popular itinerary.

 

Itinerary:

Days 1 - 4: Cape Town / City,  Four Rosmead (B&B)
Four days on arrival to settle in and explore the many world famous attractions of the Cape. Your accommodation, 4 Rosmead, on the lower slopes of the world famous, Table Mountain is a perfect base from which to unwind and explore all that this cosmopolitan city has to offer.

Days 5 & 6: Cape Winelands / Stellenbosch, River Manor (B&B)

A short drive takes you to the historic town of Stellenbosch and the beating heart of the Cape Winelands. At River Manor you are within walking distance of the bustling town centre and yet only a few minutes drive away from dramatic mountains and a multitude of wine estates.

Days 7 & 8: Western Cape / Hermanus, Blue Gum (B&B)
Two days of whale watching (in season) and country living at Blue Gum. Other attractions in the area include shark cage diving, wine tasting and beaches.

Days 9 - 11: Garden Route / Plettenberg Bay, Lily Pond (B&B)
Continuing east you reach the famed Garden Route. The variety of activities on offer, from golden beach to award winning golf and from fine dining to elephant interactions ensures there is something for everyone. 3 nights in the “New African” style retreat of Lily Pond gives you just enough time to explore this enchanted area.

Days 12 & 13: Eastern Cape / Addo, Elephant House (B&B)
The Elephant House is a welcoming and exclusive lodge only minutes away from the malaria free Addo Elephant National Park, a reserve known for its spectacular elephant sightings. Enjoy open vehicle game drives (not included) into the reserve or explore the valley in your own vehicle.

Day 14:  
After a scrumptious breakfast return to Port Elizabeth where you return your rental vehicle and board a flight for home.
