Fugitive's Drift Guest House offers comfortable accommodation in attractive en suite cottages. Six cottages are available, each with twin beds and a commanding view of the surrounding battlefields.The Guest House lies within the Fugitives' Drift Nature Reserve, roughly 800m from the Lodge battlefield tours are conducted daily in conjunction with the Lodge.The property is in a superb ecological condition and the Buffalo River yields excellent fishing. The birdlife at Fugitive's Drift Guest House is diverse and abundant. Zebra, giraffe and a variety of antelope have recently been reintroduced. Alongside the famous battlefileds of Roke's Drift and Isandlwana, there are many other battlefields within easy reach of Fugiitives' Drift - the memorial of the Prince Imperial of France is withink one hour's drive as are the battlefields of Blood River (1838) and Talana (1899) - guided tours can be conducted to all these sites.The Rorke's Drift Arts and Crafts Centre offers unique items and is well worth a visit.
