Introduction: An all year round destination off the coast of Mozambique, the Bazaruto Archipelago tour offers the ultimate in relaxing beach escapes. All the comforts, fine dining, white sands, warm waters and water sports of the Indian Ocean's more developed islands are combined with a more personal approach to hospitality, which results in a truly intimate, African, 'desert island' style beach experience. Direct flights between Kruger and Vilanculos make this bush and beach Mozambique holiday combination ideal for honeymoons or other special holidays.

Day 1 - 6: Benguera Island
On arrival at Vilanculos, the gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelago you will be met and transferred by speed-boat, sparkling wine in hand, the 20 minutes or so to Marlin Lodge on Benguera Island, the second largest island of the archipelago. On your way across keep an eye out for the elusive ‘dugongs’ or manatees that inhabit this area!
Benguera Island is an 11 by 5,5 km piece of paradise boasting white sandy beaches lined with coconut palms, warm tropical waters and beautiful fish-filled corral reefs. It is a shell collector’s haven and a paradise for diving, snorkeling or just relaxing on the beach.
The idyllic setting of Benguera is complemented by your luxurious accommodation, Marlin Lodge. Constructed from hardwood, Marlin Lodge is an elevated structure on stilts with deck platforms, reed walls and thatched roofs, and each of the 20 individual chalets offers direct access to the beach and views of the sunset.
Hobie cat sailing, windsurfing, snorkeling and ocean ski paddling are offered free of charge and you can also enjoy: scuba diving, water skiing, para-sailing, knee-boarding, tubing and watersnaking as well as deep-sea fishing, boat cruises and visits to the other islands.
