Whether you enjoy a quiet walk along the beach, an early morning walk to the top of Table Mountain, the coastal trails of the Garden Route or the spectacular hikes of the Drakensberg Mountains there is something for everyone. Many of the private game reserves also offer a daily-guided walk accompanied by an armed ranger where the smaller details of bush life are explained and guests have the opportunity to see big game on foot.
For the enthusiast there are longer overnight trails ranging from two to six days, and specialised walking safaris of several days are also available in the Kruger National Park, as well as in areas of Botswana and Zambia where guests experience a true taste of the wilderness as well as the thrill of a big game encounter on foot.
