& Beyond’s Botswana Explorer is a fully serviced, luxury, mobile camping safari expedition which travels over land through the magical hotspots of Botswana including Chobe, the Okavango Delta as well as Victoria Falls. Although often referred to as the epitome of classic African style and comfort these expeditions offer a rare opportunity to experience a truly exhilarating and down to earth wilderness adventure in Botswana.
What can I expect from the Botswana Explorer?
Expect nothing less than an authentic African, wilderness and wildlife adventure combined with all the style, elegance and comfort of a 1900’s safari expedition. Discover some of the wildest and most spectacular regions of Botswana by 4x4 vehicle, while spending eight nights in some of the continent’s most remote and wildest private camp sites, sleeping in comfortable dome tents with private bathrooms that feature an al fresco bucket shower and flush w.c. The final night of the expedition is spent in a lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River close to the Victoria Falls
Camp teams in a second vehicle travel ahead and set up camp to ensure you receive a warm welcome at each destination. With a maximum of six guests per safari you are guaranteed a window seat ensuring unobstructed game viewing and in the evening expect delicious and innovatively prepared bush cuisine with fine wines accompanying your three course dinner around camp fires. In total there are six staff members who are there to provide a fully serviced experience and to guarantee warm, personalized and attentative service.
Where will I go and what will I see?
Days 1 & 2 - Okavango Delta
This life changing journey into wild and unspoilt Botswana takes you away from the routes of the less adventurous. From Maun board your charter flight for the Okavango Delta and explore these wetlands on walks and by mokoro (dug-out canoe) - 2 nights wilderness camping.
Days 3 & 4 - Moremi
Charter flight into Moremi for two days of big game viewing in one of Africa's most beautiful reserves.
Day 5 & 6 - Savute
4x4 to Savute, an area known for its abundant predator species (2 nights).
Days 7 & 8 - Serondola
4x4 through sandy tracks to Chobe National Park, home to the largest elephant herd in Africa (2 nights).
Day 9 - Victoria Falls
Road transfer to Victoria Falls for a guided tour and a night at Matetsi Water Lodge.
Day 10 - Departure
After breakfast at Matetsi, you will be taken to Victoria Falls International Airport by road.

- Maximum age limit is 70 years of age, older guests may be accepted should they produce a medical certificate with deems them fit to travel.
