Start with 4 nights at the beautifully restored Highlands Country House in Cape Town’s leafy southern suburbs, where you will be far enough from civilization for peace and quiet, yet close enough for every convenience. Spend the next 2 days at the Akademie Street guesthouse, hidden away in a quiet area of charming Franschhoek, in the Winelands, before continuing to the West Coast where your accommodation is a historic working farm, Kersefontein, on the banks of the Berg River. Your next destination is Bartholomeus Klip Farmhouse, near Tulbagh, a working wheat farm and private game reserve home to plains game and the endangered geometric tortoise. Overnight in the quaint and historic town of Swellendam, at the luxurious Mardouw Country House and end your holiday with 2 nights at Blue Gum Country Estate, where you can spend your time relaxing in this magneficent 130 acre piece of paradise!
